DB2 Database Developer:
A New and exciting opportunity for a DB2 Database Developer has been made available with one of the world's leading Investment Banks. This is permanent position based in Canary Warf.
What would you expect to do as a DB2 Database Developer:
As a DB2 Database Developer you will be working in a collaborative onsite team. You will also have the opportunity to work with remote teams as the role will need you to have constant communication with the global development teams across New York, London, Montreal, Budapest and Mumbai.
As a DB2 Database Developer you should be familiar working with and developing DB2 databases as well as stored procedure writing and performance tuning to fulfil the businesses needs and requirements.
A successful Database Developer will be comfortable working with large volumes of data and multiple different technologies to achieve the required flow of information and production of critical reports. You will liaise with the finance department and business users in order to gain data requirements. The successful candidate will carry out data loading as well as report query performance tuning using DB2. This role will also provide the opportunity to learn and use one of the leading open source data warehouse technologies.
