Monitoring Engineer, Infrastructure - London - VP

Leading Financial Organisation based in London is seeking an Enterprise Monitoring Engineer.

The client is setting up a brand new centralised function to take full ownership of all monitoring tools across the firm. Your role will be to integrate the existing and new monitoring tools and providing 2nd/3rd line support of the applications.

To be successful in your application, you must have experience of working in a large enterprise environment (thousand's of servers). You must have a background in working with monitoring tools, such as Microsoft SCOM, IBM Netcool, Nagios, Centreon, OpTier, etc. You must have strong scripting experience, either in Shell scripting or Perl.

Awareness of ITIL v3 "Event Management" and "Incident Management" is highly advantageous.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a new team, taking full ownership for an entire application suite.
