Senior Messaging Engineer (IM/Exchange) - 50-65k+ benefits + bonus
Location / Sector : London / Financial Services
A leading global financial services company is looking to hire a Messaging Engineer to engineer and support global messaging platforms - with a focus upon instant messaging / federation environment. The role is multidimensional with a mixture of project work alongside troubleshooting, system monitoring and improvements on both local and global scales. The three focus areas are: Instant Messaging, Exchange and Mobility Technologies.
Ideal skill set/experience:
* Instant Messaging: OCS / LYNC and Open Fire or other XMPP based IM platforms.
* Core Messaging: Microsoft Exchange, Ironport, Blackberry ES and Symantec Vault
* Federation for instant messaging
* Mixture of: Windows OS, Networking, Automation (powershell), management apps (SCOM) and protocols (XMPP, SIP, SMTP, POP, IMAP, RPC over HTTPS.
This is an ideal unique opportunity for an experienced Messaging Engineer with a strong interest and skills within the IM and federation arena to join a growing financial organisation and get exposure across the business not only on a local but also global scale as a technical SME.
