An industry leader in the construction and operation of Anaerobic Digestion facilities across the United Kingdom is currently seeking an Operations Manager to hold multi-site responsibility across the North-East of England. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation with plans to continue developing its portfolio across the country.
Scope of work
Managing multiple facilities across the North-East of England, the Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring that activity across all plants are compliant with operational procedures and in line with health and safety regulations. Travelling regularly across the region, you will be responsible for approximately 15 people, working to ensure the safe and optimal function of all facilities. Health and safety is paramount; therefore you will ensure all activity is compliant with rules and regulations.
As such a senior manager within the business, you will also be required to be on-call as and when required in order to ensure that operations continue to run smoothly and in-line with required targets.
- Have a proven record in operations management
- Possess a WAMITAB Level 4 qualification (in Anaerobic Digestion would be an advantage)
- Have a good knowledge of feedstocks and be able to analyse laboratory results
- A record in working with food waste, or energy crop plant fuels would be beneficial
- Have a good knowledge of health and safety.
- Be able to commute to facilities across the North-East

They have experienced significant growth and, since their formation, have built and successfully commissioned hundreds of AD plants.
The company is paying a basic salary of £50,000-£60,000 with a car or car allowance, pension and 20 days holiday plus 8 stats.
