Our ESG Efforts

Huxley takes part in a wide range of ESG initiatives and programmes with a vision to transform lives through skills and work. We’re proud of our strong philanthropic history in partnership with our parent company, the SThree Group. This has been developed over the years to strategically align with the Group’s commercial strategy and incorporate our STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) expertise.

ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) is the framework we use to ensure we are an ethical business. At SThree our purpose is to bring skilled people together to build the future; a sustainable future where the UN Sustainable Development Goals are achieved. In everything we do as a business we consider what impact our actions will have on building a sustainable future.

Our approach best utilises our core recruitment expertise, skills, and networks to help people from underprivileged backgrounds into work. The SThree Foundation further enriches our goal. Launched in 2016, the SThree Foundation supports bright young people from underprivileged and diverse backgrounds into the STEM industries. Learn more by watching our video below.

We encourage all our teams to lead community initiatives and projects in order to cultivate their personal and professional development. In addition to their role everyone has the opportunity to collaborate and engage with ESG. Every SThree employee has two paid days a year to volunteer; they can support positive environmental campaigns and they can get involved in supporting our partner charities.

Local charities

In Dubai, we work with the Dubai Foundation for Women and Children — a non-profit shelter in the UAE for women and children who are victims of domestic violence, child abuse, and human trafficking — through various ways such as conducting a CV writing workshop to equip them with knowledge and skills that can help them in the future. It is an emotional experience and gratifying time spent with these young women who are eager to make a difference in today's society.
