Electrical, Instrumentation, Controls & Automation Engineer
Are you an experienced Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, Automation (MEICA) Engineer looking for a new challenge?

We now have an exciting opportunity to join one of the South West's leading employers as a MEICA Engineer. This role can be based anywhere in the South West, but there will be frequent travel to sites particularly around Devon. This is a highly stable business with strong continuity of work and a terrific diversity of projects to keep you interested.
What will you be doing?
As an MEICA Engineer, you will support the MEICA delivery of projects to achieve efficient project handover. You'll provide relevant technical reports and MEICA feedback, as well as audit contractors' commissioning and training procedures for quality and compliance with Company standards.
The MEICA Engineer will act as a contact point for the resolution of site-based problems both during and after output delivery. You will review the Functional Design Specification (FDS) and O&M manuals to ensure the installed plant operates in accordance with requirements. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing systems for the promotion of efficiency.
What do you need?
- Possess wide-ranging engineering knowledge
- Proven experience within the field of Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation Engineering
- Experience within a process industry or similar environment such as water, food & beverage manufacturing, mines & quarries, chemical process manufacturing
- Able to change and adapt to new technology and circumstances
- Full UK Driving Licence
What can the company do for you?
In return for your hard work as our MEICA Engineer, we can offer a salary of circa £35,000 - £45,000 per annum. We also offer a range of excellent benefits including a company vehicle, 5% pension and a great company share scheme.
