Commissioning Engineer opportunity - Home/Field based - Process

There is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to join a key client within the process industry as a Commissioning Engineer.

This role will be home-based with very frequent travel to customer sites, predominantly within the UK.

The position will see you being involved in the installation and commissioning of new machinery supplied by the business, all the way through to the Site Acceptance Testing. You would also assist with upgrade projects and produce accurate maintenance reports, including recommendations for continuous improvement of system design.

Working alongside a team of experienced Controls Engineers you would modify standard programs to meet bespoke applications, as well as fault-finding and troubleshooting existing machinery.

To be successful in applying for this Commissioning Engineer position you must have:

  • 3-5 recent years' experience servicing and commissioning complex machinery or systems ideally solutions incorporating conveyor systems, multiple servos, variable speed drives and HMI controls
  • Previous Controls experience programming from scratch
  • PLC programs fault finding, ideally Mitsubishi & Allen Bradley
  • Electrical/Mechanical diagnosis experience

This position would provide a basic salary of up to £45,000 plus an excellent benefits package including a company car, paid overtime, double-matched pension, 25 days holiday and more…
