The UK's leader in fuel transportation and storage has a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Technician to join their friendly Maintenance team in North Lincolnshire. As an Electrical Technician you will be provided with a company van and cover a group of sites, all within daily commuting distance. You will be responsible for day-to-day Electrical Maintenance and testing. You will resolve defects, assist in changing the operation of specific plant items and provide information in response to maintenance alerts.
The maintenance work would include LV distribution small power and lighting, testing of fire alarms and emergency lighting, and periodic Electrical inspections. Any prior experience in testing to BS 60079 or in hazardous areas would be highly beneficial.
As an Electrical technician you would be expected to have qualifications including Compex, City & Guilds 2394 and 2395 and be at least 17th edition certified.
Due to the nature of the role you must have a driving license and be prepared to do occasional overtime for out of hours breakdowns and emergencies. It is a 37.5 hour working week and generally you will be working 8am - 4pm from Monday to Friday.
This Electrical Technician position offers an package including salary up to £33,000 (depending upon experience), a company van, 12% employer contributed pension, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, private healthcare, life cover and more.
