Huxley is exclusively working with a family office, part of a renowned multinational commercial group. Luxembourg employs 8 people and the office is situated in the city centre.

The group is looking for a finance and tax manager to join them beginning of next year.

Main job responsibilities:

  • Monthly review of accounts LUXGAAP (+- 15 companies)
  • Monthly record/review of inter-company transactions, interest accrual, costs recharges...
  • Monthly reporting to Hong Kong (profit statement, management accounts, consolidated cash report)
  • Monthly review of managed funds (bonds) report
  • Record of complex accounting entries (capitalization, liquidation, merger…)
  • Quarterly Consolidated Accounting Statement (CAS) reporting
  • Quarterly profit forecast reporting
  • Quarterly BCL reporting
  • Annual preparation and filing of various budget forms
  • Annual CBCR reporting
  • Year-end accruals and tax simulations
  • Preparation/filing of VAT returns (+- 4 companies)
  • Preparation/review of annual statutory accounts (+-30 companies)
  • Preparation/review of annual corporate tax returns (+-30 companies)
  • Annual coordination of audit (1 company)
  • Assistance of ad hoc requests from Senior Managers
  • Provide support and advice to HK head office for specific requirements on local commercial law

Candidates profile:

  • Degree in Accounting / Finance
  • Significant professional experience of +- 7 years in Luxembourg (ideally Fiduciary, Big 4)
  • Strong knowledge of LUXGAAP and Luxembourg TAX
  • Strong knowledge of EXCEL
  • Knowledge of BOB50 considered as an asset
  • Fluent (spoken and written) in French and English is a must
  • Self-motivated, rigorous, well organized
  • Professional, reliable, team-player
