A Product and Functional Safety Manager is needed to join an Automotive Company based in Newcastle. This is part of an expansion of their current team and the company boast an impressive site as well as an unrivalled benefits package! Your Role as the Product and Functional Safety Manager will mean that you are responsible for the safety of projects on a global scale. You will be developing the safety plan throughout the full product lifecyle and collaborating with various managers globally. You will also be working customers and suppliers to ensure that the Functional Safety of the products/Projects are adhered to across different sites/locations. As their Product and Functional Safety Manager, you will have experience in working in an ISO26262 Environment as you will be working in a safety critical environment. You will also be responsible for the analysis and acceptance of safety related documentation, including but not limited to HARAs, FMEAs, FMEDAs and qualitative/quantitative FTAs

Core Skill/Experience for this role include:-

Experience of working with Functional Safety in a Safety Critical environment Experience in Software Quality - ASPICE,CMMI

Working with customers to take requirements right the way through to production

Full Product Lifecyle - Systems/Software

A minimum of currently active FSCAE/AFSP certification. FSCAC/FSCAM/AFSE preferred

Knowledge of Requirements Management tools ( e.g., DOORS)

Familiarity with development in the embedded environment
