Our client are looking for a Head of Mechanical Design with experience at a principle design level to join and lead the geographically dispersed team of engineers and CAD technicians who have a reputation for delivering results to the highest standards and quality.

You will be leading and coordinating your team on Combined Heat and Power (CHP), power plant room designs and associated works for major commercial and residential builds i.e. hospitals, offices etc.

You will be working for a business who care about their staff and can offer stimulating work with a great work-life balance that means you'll only need to visit the London office twice a week and the rest of your work can be done remotely (currently 100% remote due to pandemic).

The variation in technical challenges will allow you to both broaden your technical expertise and maintain the enjoyment of solving new problems and challenges.

You will already be a Chartered Engineer and be up to date with your knowledge when it comes to relevant standards and guidelines associated with such works

This role will offer you a starting salary of £65,000 - £75,000 depending upon what value you can add to the business. Plus a benefits package that includes a 10% bonus and company car.
