You would be working as a Lead Controls & Instrumentation Engineer within a business which generates energy from waste, which would otherwise be wreaking havoc with Mother Earth. So you can sleep well knowing you're part of the solution.

This business is a well - funded start up where you would have the freedom to lead the C&I activities as you see fit. You would actively be able to make technical decisions and make your own mark.

You'll be working a Monday-to-Friday days-based position with the option of doing 2 days working from home, based at their site in Avonmouth but you'll have to be OK with frequent travel to different sites (around 5 Commissioning trips a year).

You will be supporting existing units with troubleshooting, fault-finding - both from a hardware and software perspective.

Your experience in hazardous/heavy industry environment such as power generation, manufacturing, distribution or steel would set you up well in succeeding in this role.

You will be managing your own time and would be the go to person for all things in the Controls, Instrumentation & ATEX remit.

The package will be up to £70,000 per annum depending on your extent and relevance of experience, 25 days holiday, pension, private health care as well as a hybrid working model.
