Your job as an Operations Manager

You will be responsible for ensuring managed service is provided to all clients, to ensure that their IT infrastructure and systems remain operational. This is done through proactively managing, overseeing, monitoring, investigating and resolving escalated technical incidents and problems to ensure the restoration of these services to the clients to ensure compliance to the agreed service level agreement. Your primary objective is to ensure contracted Managed Services outcomes are delivered to the client. You will assist with the building and support of delivering managed services and work with regional and local teams to meet business objectives.

Required skills for this Operational Manager:

  • General qualification and knowledge in various technologies
  • ITIL certified
  • Technical certifications required to work as a part of the CoE
  • Knowledge and experience in Networking and Datacentre
  • Experience in team management / operational management (at least 5 people)
  • Experience in service delivery and continual service improvement
  • Languages : either Dutch / English or French / English (trilingual is a plus)
  • Ability to coach and mentor on a daily basis
  • Ability to set priorities
