The role & company:

An automotive tier 1 / 2 supplier have just created a brand new role for an up-and-coming Sales Engineer to join their growing team in the West Midlands. This Sales Executive position will have a big focus on training, development and progression. You'll start off working internally; focusing on learning the industry, lead generation and supporting the management of accounts. This will also involve international travel to customers and other manufacturing sites.

Reporting straight in to the Sales Director, you'll be given more and more responsibility over time, with the goal of progressing in to a fully fledged Sales Management position in due course. There's no glass ceiling or limit to your progression - this opportunity is what you make of it. This Sales Engineer opportunity will push, challenge and test you, but will give the right candidate masses to learn and will ultimately be hugely rewarding.


You'll need to be a technically minded individual with some exposure to the Automotive Manufacturing sector, ideally with an engineering background. On top of this, you must be a clear communicator and be able to demonstrate excellent internal and external relationship management skills.

Due to the nature of the position, it's essential that you re able to commute on a daily basis to to company's West Midlands head office.
