A leading financial services organisation is currently searching for Senior Business Analyst with experience in Model Risk on a 6 month contract basis.

It will be £605 PAYE and working remotely for the foreseeable future.

Responsibilities for the role are;


Responsible for documenting business requirements, designing workflows, providing business challenge to the review of solution designs, executing user acceptance testing and change activities to ensure new solutions are adopted. This is a build on the business requirements and high-level solution design that underpinned the IMR (Independent Model Review) Optimisation business case. The role will involve close co-operation with stakeholders in Risk IT, GRA, IMR and the Model Risk Transformation Programme.
Core responsibilities include facilitation and documentation of the business requirements, business process flows, user acceptance testing and change activities for:

  • Workflows to manage core IMR business process such as order book management, model validation and findings management
  • Data storage repository for first line model data and information
  • Cloud based environment for the testing and validation of models
  • Automating elements of validation report production
  • Proof of Value (PoV) for a FinTech that could provide some of the capabilities outlined above.
