My client, a leading systems integrator thriving in the current climate, are looking to grow their sales team, and are currently looking for an Technical Sales Manager to oversee the bids and tenders team. This role offers remote working.

Summary of Role

Being in a senior position within the company you will oversee costings, estimates, bids, and proposals, reporting to the Sales Director

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare quotations and specifications for automation application tenders, within the set deadline date
  • Oversee and manage the internal tenders team
  • Liaise with the sales team, to include project updates, latest industry technologies
  • Handle sales and project customer requests for information
  • Deliver a high quality service to customers, maintain the company's reputation as a leading edge systems integrator
  • Provide technical support and training to the tenders team
  • Manage and control engineering resources to support complex technical bids
  • Attend customer survey, tender and project review meetings when required

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Qualified to degree level in electrical/electronic engineering
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Detailed knowledge of systems integration incorporating variable speed drives, robotics, PLCs and SCADA/HMI technologies
  • Strong communication skills in all areas
  • Capable of using initiative and paying close attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, capable of prioritising
  • Knowledge and experience of some of the following is a requirement:
