Company Profile: My client is a successful and award winning Commodities Trading house who are based in the heart of London, currently on the market seeking a Software Engineer (C#/.NET) (C#/.NET/MVC/JavaScript) to join there talented and growing Operation Systems team.

The business provide access to 30+ derivatives exchanges, 150 foreign exchange markets, nearly every global securities marketplace and a number of liquidity venues. The business also serves 30,000 commercial, institutional and payments clients, and more than 100,000 retail clients across more than 100 countries.

Role purpose:

My client is a an agile, passionate team capable of building scalable, performant solutions to solve real world problems on a global scale. As part of the member Operations Systems team, you will work side by side with our operations teams to build, maintain, and enhance systems that support our futures, OTC, and physical back office systems and procedures.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proficient software development experience with C#, .Net, MVC, JavaScript
  • Good database development experience Microsoft SQL Server
  • Understanding of web technologies - XML, CSS, HTML
  • Good principles around data structures/problem solving and algorithms
  • Build and enhance applications within regulatory operations environment
  • Working on delivering high-quality development support to our regulatory/compliance workforce.
  • Analysing and recommending development strategies, process improvements and benchmarks.
  • Interest and passionate to learn new technologies/languages
  • Knowledge of financial markets or a strong desire to learn and excel (Angular, React ,Cloud services (Microsoft Azure), reporting services (Power BI, Kibana) and FIX protocol
