Huxley is working with an Industry-leading CyberSecurity company that specializes in security for large enterterprises. They are expanding their APAC Sales Operations and their presence in APJ. This is a great time to be part of this growth and also embark on this exciting journey with them. The client is looking for an experienced Technical Support Engineer to cover the ASEAN region and to support the sales team for technical discussion.

The Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for the following:

Troubleshoot and resolve complex, critical and sensitive support issues both over the phone, electronically and occasionally over remote sessions.

  • Collaborate efficiently with your Technical Support colleagues, both locally in Singapore and globally across locations including APJ, UK, US and Singapore.
  • Engage with next tier support, development and/or product management colleagues when required in order to resolve customer problems.
  • Escalate critical issues and roadblocks to the various available internal escalation paths.
  • Reproduce customer issues and, if needed, document solutions to known/common issues.
  • Learning and accumulating knowledge on new technologies, and act as a multiplier.
  • Availability to be on call after hours and on weekends on occasion.
  • Attending and contributing on customer facing conferences.
  • Provide feedback to Product Management based on sales organization and customer generated feedback
  • Ensure proposals are technically sound, deliverable, competitive and representative of market leadership
  • Design, develop, and maintain a dynamic lab environment that can be rapidly configured to suit specific hardware or software solutions

The Technical Support Engineer will require the following:

  • Strong experience with Windows/Active Directory administration and operations with some knowledge of UNIX/Linux
  • An understanding of security concepts and the development of security roles within organizations that meet functional, technical and regulatory requirements
  • Hands on experience in Identity, Authentication, Authorization, Unix Shell and JavaScript; Advanced knowledge in identity federation techniques is a plus, especially preferably in customer or citizen identity.
