Senior Quantitative Technologist

Responsibilities:

  • Design data pipeline solutions for the research platform and portfolio applications
  • Build research & production model code for investment strategies
  • Develop various processes to support quantitative and value-oriented investment strategies
  • Provide support for the management and consumption of data on a daily basis for signals and trading investigate, and correct disruptions in the production systematic investment model process
  • Contribute research on modeling architecture and high-level database design
  • Work with IT teams to guide projects, onboard new data sources
  • Analyze, prepare, and onboard new datasets for alpha signal testing for both traditional structured data and alternative/big data sets
  • Work with strategists and researchers to build new quantitative models and systematic backtests

Requirements:

  • Degree in computer science, engineering, data science, statistics, or hard science
  • 4+ years of Full-stack software development experience with languages such as Python, Matlab, R
  • Significant OOP and OOD experience
  • Adept at SQL queries and familiarity with relational databases
  • Experience with modern CI/CD DevOps practices and tools (Jenkins) is preferred
  • Familiarity with financial time-series and macroeconomic data and vendors, including DatasStream and Bloomberg
  • Experience with Fixed Income market, yield curves, and bond & derivative instruments is preferred
