My client is an insurance in Central Brussels. They are looking for a Second Line Support Engineer to join their team.

Duration : 12 in months
The 2nd line support engineer will work on backend infrastructure servers. You will also need to have knowledge on workstations.
As a support engineer, you will be taking ownership of tickets and you will work towards a resolution.
After an initial investigation, you will need to determine whether you can resolve the ticket or need to escalate the ticket.
You will automate tasks where possible.
Tickets will cover (but not limited to) :
- Share provisioning,
- Disaster recovery planning.
You will operate in shifts between 7 :00 and 18 :00.
Regardless of your infrastructure knowledge, you must have knowledge of workstation operating systems and applications :
- Windows 7
- Citrix client
- Internet Explorer
as well as
- Powershell scripting
As a infrastructure engineer, you will need to know one of the following platforms :
- Windows Server 2012
- Network services
You will be able to demonstrate
- Experience of working with a ticketing system,
- Experience of using remote desktop tools.
