Account Director - IT Security

This individual will be responsible for driving new sales and business within both new and existing accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the clients in order to develop strategies and identify areas that will help them differentiate themselves compared to their competitors
  • Drive forward sales and revenue by working with specific client accounts; working through the full sales life-cycle.
  • Build long term and last relationships to best understand the organizations goals; working with technical experts to further understand the client needs, and discuss the details of the service offerings
  • Continuously building relationships and identifying future business prospects
  • Stay on top of industry trends and the current marketplace by attending conferences, reading relevant articles and meeting with key players in the space

Requirements:

  • Experience working within Information Security, Cyber Security, IT or relevant industry
  • Comfortable working in a start up environment
  • Have the ability to work independently and with a team
  • Recognize that driving and growing the organization comes first
  • Must be able to develop new relationships and drive forward existing ones
  • Have a diverse set of sales techniques in order to bring a new, fresh perspective to the organization
  • Build lasting relationships
  • Cold calling experience is a must
  • Understanding of Information Technology or Information Security products
