Huxley are partnered with a highly reputable Manufacturing & Engineering Consultancy. They have been in business for over 25 years with a loyal customer base.
The business are planning their next phase of growth, this growth will be focused on securing new business and revenue associated with PLC technologies and integration services. The position of Business Development Manager is crucial to achieve this growth.
As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for leading, delivering and monitoring all business development activity. You will be supporting sector strategy to identifying opportunities for core growth across a number of areas. You will research, identify and secure new long term strategic partners, and maximise relationships and opportunities with outstanding account management.
Key Skills & Experience
-5 years in a business development role
-Experience of developing and executing sales pipelines
-Experience in dealing with automation equipment and PLC technologies is essential.
-Self-motivated and skilled at generating new opportunities, creating and delivering client facing presentations in order to secure new business relationships
-Ability to travel throughout the UK and meet customers face to face.
-A degree/qualification within engineering would be desirable
