C# Developer (SQL, .NET) - Private Equity

A C# Developer (SQL, .NET) is required by a boutique Private Equity firm based in London that is looking to re-build its core Credit decision platform. This C# .NET Developer role will see you working autonomously with the business to understand what's needed from the new platform, taking responsibility for subsequent design, architecture and development (no prior experience in this field necessary, just inherent problem solving ability and a creative approach). This would also see you working on a host of downstream and upstream applications, focusing on modernising or completely re-building where appropriate. You will be heavily involved in a transition to the cloud (Azure).

A brief snapshot of the business:

The firm is the Private Equity arm of a globally renowned hedge fund, has a boutique feel with a small IT team that is very much integrated into the business. As a result of the size of the IT team you'll be involved in a wide variety of projects which will offer deep exposure to investing and lending (as well as investment management more broadly). The team is friendly and extremely knowledgeable, looking for someone and work autonomously as a peer.

Key technical skills for this C# .NET (SQL) role:

  • C# & .NET / ASP.NET
  • Strong SQL
  • Multi-threading - expertise in complex, server side programming
  • Ideally some web UI work for data visualisation purposes - Angular, Typescript, HTML and such like (happy for you to pick this up on the job)

Key role details:

  • Location - central London
  • Salary - from £75,000 to £90,000 + typical bonus for this sector
