A thriving automated solutions provider near Stevenage are looking for a Control Systems Engineer to join their team. If you can demonstrate a proven track record of working with special purpose machinery, then you could be the Control Systems Engineer that we're looking for.
What will you be doing?
As a Control Systems Engineer, your skills will be utilised when taking projects through the full lifecycle. You will be running your own projects, including programming from scratch, right the way through to commissioning. There will also be international travel
What skills/experience should you have?
- PLC programming from scratch (coding, not just putting blocks of code together)
- Siemens experience
- Experience with HMI's
- Experience in either the machine tool or special purpose machinery industry
- Experience with conveyors, robotics, and laser markers would be an advantage
Although not an essential requirement for the role, if you can demonstrate experience of developing systems using SCADA or Visual Basic, then this may enhance your application.
