The UK's leader in fuel transportation and storage has a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join their site in Central London.

As an Electrical Engineer you will be the technical authority for electrical systems and equipment, who can take a lead in the identification and scoping of plant modifications and preparing designs & specifications for new electrical systems and equipment.

You would perform electrical calculations, prepare drawings & technical specifications, and prepare cost estimates and business case proposals for electrical equipment. The site Electrical Equipment includes: Transformers, HV/LV Switchgear, HV/LV distribution, ATEX Motors, Motor Starters, VSDs, UPSs, Hazardous Area Cabling/Containment/Junction Boxes and Earthing and Bonding Systems. To be successful in applying for this Electrical Engineer opportunity, you must have:

  • Significant electrical system design experience including load lists, SLDs, cable sizing, fault level and motor starting calculations.
  • Working knowledge of Regulations and Directives such as ATEX, EWR, EER, Machinery Directive, PUWER, COMAH and CDM
  • Specification of equipment for installation in Hazardous areas

This Electrical Engineer position offers an excellent remuneration package including salary up to £60,000 (depending upon experience), 12% employer contributed pension, 30 days holiday, private health care, life cover, bonus scheme and more.
