End User Support Engineer
An End User Support Engineer position has become available with a globally leading fund. This is a permanent position centrally located in London.
In this consistently growing fund you the End User will working with a global team to provide technical support for all internal end user software, hardware and connectivity. Due to the nature of the company you will be continually asked to perform at the top level looking to improve processes and seek out proactive solutions. While the End User Support Engineer will be working within an established team, you will be asked to have an entrepreneurial and self-directed nature being able to independently identify, diagnose research and resolve technical problems.
The End User Support Engineer will be supporting high level executives, therefor top communication skills will be vital. There will also be a large element of collaboration between this team, other infrastructure groups and the business IT teams. On your day to day will have a good mix of general maintained and project work. They will look for the incoming End User Support Engineer to demonstrate the ability to adapt quickly to changing environments.
Solid desktop and laptop computer hardware knowledge
Understanding of LAN technologies and TCP/IP protocol
Knowledge of broad based server technology (Active Directory, Exchange…)
Virtualisation and Remote Access technologies
Mobile Platform support
