Would you like to work for a world-leading household name, producing prototype components for cutting-edge automated projects? We have an opportunity for an Engineering Technician to join a team in Maidenhead, Berkshire producing leading-edge technology including automated and robotic systems.
This Engineering Technician role will see you working alongside design engineers to manufacture prototype designs from documentation, CAD drawings and verbal discussions. You could enjoy using a range of techniques including manual machining such as milling & turning, CNC programming and additive manufacturing (3D printing)
This is a fantastic opportunity to have an involvement in exciting projects, working for a company which provides a comfortable working environment, treats their staff well and rewards good results. This position is to eventually replace someone who is retiring from the business after 32 years of service, which is a testament to how much people enjoy working there.
In order to be considered for this position you must have:
- Engineering apprenticeship or formal qualification
- Experience with manual machining - i.e. milling, turning
- Any experience with the following may be beneficial - CNC programming, reading CAD drawings, additive manufacturing
