Junior Business System Analyst
Client is a US multinational Medical Device company with operations in over 100 countries.
Jr Business System Analyst has impact on achievement of operational goals by ensuring that any software integration into company systems meets functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications. With supervision, the incumbent will work with stakeholders and interpret business needs and issues, effectively translating them to actionable requirements. This individual will support Senior Business System Analyst responsibilities using proven analytical and problem-solving skills. The individual will support day-to-day Baan (ERP) jobs and will help EDI as a backup.
Is proficient in the end user functional processes performed within the supported applications
Reviews and analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems/technologies and develops strategies for improving or leveraging these systems.
Considers business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.
Support to develops effective test scenarios, scripts and use cases with consideration to cross functional and process stream impact
Support to analyzes formal test results in order to discover and resolve defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws
Support to Performs application system administration functions specific to application setup, configuration and maintenance.
Performs system, process and application monitoring.
Carries out procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet quality, organization standards and end user requirements.
Monitor Baan (ERP system) & EDI system (team effort)
Control/adjust delivery process (process the order based on delivery timing/shipping address)
Trouble shooting of Baan (ERP system) & EDI system
- User support in term of ERP & EDI system (number of user: less than 10)
Good knowledge of ERP systems with EDI functions
Ability to adapt to a fast and dynamic environment.
Ability to effectively translate between internal contacts and IS teams
Ability to follow procedures and edit supporting documentation based on instruction.
Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail.
Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Seeks assistance from supervisor in identifying and reporting problems or concerns relating to job functions
Conducts self in a professional manner with co-workers, management, customers and others
Native Japanese language
- Communicative ~ Business level English (written/reading)
Must have 3 to 5 years' or more supporting ERP system exp
Preferred 3 to 5 years' experience or more a member of a ERP implementation project.
