The UK's leader in fuel transportation and storage has a fantastic opportunity for a Lead Control and Instrumentation Engineer to join their site in Central London. As a Lead Control and Instrumentation Engineer you will be the technical authority for all Control & Instrumentation and Functional Safety disciplines, with three direct reports. You would be responsible for establishing control and instrumentation equipment performance standards. You will also contribute to P&ID reviews, HAZOPs and LOPAs.
The position will involve engineering design of C&I upgrade projects, operations/maintenance technical support and review of plant modifications and engineering queries. You will have authority to prepare C&I Scope of Works, specifications and philosophies. You will also be responsible for preparing Safety Requirement Specifications, SIF design, SIL Verification Reports, Proof Test Procedures and Functional Safety Assessments.
To be successful in applying for this Lead Control and Instrumentation Engineer opportunity, you must have:
- Significant experience in design of process control systems, ESD/SIS systems and F&G systems
- Working knowledge of Regulations and Directives such as ATEX, PED and COMAH
- SIL Verification, Proof Testing and Functional Safety Assessments
This Lead Control and Instrumentation Engineer position offers an excellent remuneration package including salary up to £65,000 (depending upon experience), 12% employer contributed pension, 30 days holiday, private healthcare, life cover, bonus scheme and more.
