An automotive manufacturer are recruiting for a continuous improvement engineer to join their team in Oxfordshire. Are you proficient with lean manufacturing principles and competent in driving key quality metrics within a manufacturing environment? If so, then you may be the Engineer we're looking for.
What will you be doing?
As continuous improvement engineer, you'll be responsible for supporting existing platforms and actively driving improvements for manufacturing processes and quality output. You'll have the ability to maintain, analyse and communicate key manufacturing / product quality metrics. Promoting a CI culture, developing tools, implementation and training.
What skills/experience should you have?
- Minimum 2 years' experience of working in a medium-fast paced manufacturing environment
- Delivered key lean manufacturing principles- (5s, Kanban, kaizen, SMED)
- Working knowledge of ISO9001 would be advantageous
