A global leader in the construction and management of healthcare facilities around the world is currently seeking an Operations Manager to play an integral role in ensuring they continue to provide their customers with exemplary levels of service. This role, based at a major hospital in North London, is for an international organisation that offers scope for professional development and career progression.
Scope of work
Reporting to the General Manager, as Operations Manager you will be tasked with co-ordinating data for monthly performance reports, ensuring all activity remains in-line with contractual obligations. Managing the Performance Monitoring System for all FM Services, you will build quality working relationships with the client and liaise with the IS department to ensure a consistent, robust and well-supported service.
As Operations Manager, you will liaise closely with the Compliance, Commercial and Finance Teams on PMS deduction recording, tracking and management activity. Furthermore, you'd also collaborate with the General Manager to achieve contract targets and implement robust mitigation processes and strategies across the PFI business.
The Operations Manager's responsibility will encompass responsibility for the completion of controls assurance and monthly reports, including the assessment and audit of associated action plans and targets. In addition to this, you will provide training to frontline and management staff, conducting toolbox talks and ensuring their skillset's remain up-to-date and in line with requirements.
It is important that you are able to commute to their North London facility in order to complete the requirements of this role.
- Possess an engineering background
- Have extensive operational knowledge of FM service provision
- Have prior experience of FM contracts
- Be able to problem-solve and work pro-actively to promote efficiencies and improve service/delivery
- Have a proven record in using financial systems to generate reports and experience in the use of CAFM systems.
- Have an in-depth understanding of performance measures and KPI's as well as associated software used to gather and provide data.
- Be able to commute to the North London facility.

The company is paying a basic salary of between £45,000-£50,000 plus a discretionary bonus, car allowance of £5,000 per annum, pension, private healthcare and 25 days holiday + 8 stats.
