A global business, leading the design and manufacture of specialist consumer products is seeking a Process Engineering Manager to join their R&D facility in Oxfordshire.
Do you have broad knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes? And dealt with suppliers of equipment to deliver these? If so, you could be the PEM my client is looking for.
What will you be doing?
As Process Engineering Manager, you'll be responsible for supporting existing platforms & process and actively driving developments and improvements for manufacturing processes. You'll be expected to manage a small team of engineers, lead process characterisation in parallel with engineering concept design, and then specify, procure and modify process equipment.
What skills/experience should you have?
- Strong leadership/ management within a manufacturing/ prototype build environment.
- Worked in a clean room environment
- Sourcing and management of production tooling and equipment suppliers
- Ideally have experience in the production of complex, precision engineering.
