An exciting permanent position as End User Support Engineer has become available within a globally leading fund based in central London.
With extensive experience as the End User, you will be working with the global team to provide technical support, administration, for all internal end-user software, hardware and connectivity. Due to the fast nature of the industry and company you will be able to proactively find solutions and continually improve processes. The characteristics of the role means working as part of the wider team, however you will have an entrepreneurial and self-directed attitude being able to independently identify, diagnose research and resolve technical problems.
Excellent Communication skills are vital within this role as you will be supporting a wide range of audiences from technical staff to high level executives. Day to day roles will include general maintenance work and project work, however there will be a need to demonstrate the ability to adapt quickly in changing environments. As well as independently seeking solutions there will be a large component of collaborative work between the team, other infrastructure groups and the business IT teams.
Solid desktop and laptop computer hardware knowledge
Understanding of LAN technologies and TCP/IP protocol
Knowledge of broad based server technology (Active Directory, Exchange, etc)
Virtualisation and Remote Access technologies
Mobile Platform support
