The Company:

The business is a growing Hedge fund based in Mayfair who specialise in fund and asset management, now seeking to add a talented Senior Java developer (VP level).

Your New Role:

We are currently looking for a passion, driven and seasoned Java Software Developer who has extensive experience within the financial services sector, someone who can has exposure of Risk Management and Risk modelling and processing. Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Strong Java experience
  • Trade experience (1-200 traders per day)
  • Risk management and Risk Modelling exposure
  • Having worked on back office application and solid pedigree
  • Development and research/analysis coverage
  • Ideal tech stat - 40% Java , 40% Python, 20% combination of JavaScript and SQL

Skills/Experience: Ideal Candidates will have the following background:

  • Highly Proficient in Java and Python
  • Financial Service Sector Knowledge (8-10 yrs.)
  • Exposure/Understanding of Risk Modelling and Risk Management
  • Trade Experience
