Support Engineer

Our client is a Multinational Financial Services Technology company.

As the Support Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Accepting and responding to incoming client calls, web requests and emails
  • Redirecting and escalating client issues, as necessary, to the appropriate support groups for resolution
  • Managing multiple incoming issues and updating clients on resolution progress
  • Maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service
  • Building strong client relationships through setting and managing client expectations
  • Identifying areas for process improvement or additional documentation, as appropriate
  • Assisting with other ad-hoc projects, as requested

 

As the Support Engineer, you will:

  • Have excellent communication skills in Japanese and business level English
  • Be organized, with good time management skills
  • Have strong problem-solving skills

 

Any of the following skills will be considered assets:

  • Basic technical background - knowledge in networks and basic technical troubleshooting
  • Financial knowledge or general knowledge of the Japan market
  • Previous client support experience
